Cette année, le Student Chapter a mis en place une nouvelle newsletter automatisée à l’aide d’un partenariat avec l’entreprise Sindup. Cette dernière est spécialisée dans la veille informationnelle et a permis à notre équipe de développer une newsletter hebdomadaire centrée autour du domaine des mines et carrières.
Cette newsletter est transmise aux étudiants et enseignants ayant faits part de leur intérêt. Ainsi, au cours de la dernière année, près de 40 newsletters ont été générées contenant chacune entre 20 et 30 articles d’actualité.
The student chapter’s newsletter aspires to introduce students to mining and quarry fields. The newsletters sum up most of the activities in which the student chapter took parts, such as field trips and conferences.
This year a new partnership with the French company Sindup, allows us to create a semi-automatic newsletter. Sindup is a strategic intelligence platform that permits to produce a weekly newsletter about mining, jobs, research, economic news. This weekly newsletter was sent to geological students and multi-disciplinary professors in UniLaSalle Beauvais.
This helps the students and professors to follow the news of the mining and quarry industry and to be aware of the new job and internships offers, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This newsletter was operated along with a strategic intelligence professor of UniLaSalle Beauvais.
Since the beginning of this news initiative a total of 40 newsletters were generated, and each of them included between 20 and 30 verified articles.
The data generated by the application helps to understand what kind of articles are the most appreciated and leads to a constant amelioration of the utilization of the tool.
